Beautiful calligraphy from Toronto's own Barbara Kua. The above letterpress printed sample is in the clean and modern Olivia style. Another favorite style of mine is her latest called Scarlette. I hope to print more of Barbara's work in the future. It's a rare treat and welcome break to print gorgeous hand-drawn lettering. Paired with soft, cottony, lightly textured paper and it's a definite keepsake.
We're getting some true April showers all day today. There's something nice and comforting about a good thunderstorm and a downpour of rain. I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.
